We are for the first time encountering some resistance to Jesus’ testimony. Throughout the Gospel of John we will encounter a mixed reception of Jesus and his ministry. Some will not understand, others simply cannot commit to following Jesus, others flat out reject him, and others embrace him, longing for Jesus to fill their lives with redemption, renewal, meaning, fulfillment and purpose.
