Interested in On-Line Teaching English as a Second Language with Jason Stryd?

A message from Jason Stryd:
English as Second Language (ESL) classes have been a major way that I have made connections the last 2 years but been on hold since March.  Pray as I consider if there are any ways of doing a virtual ESL class this winter.  The technology is certainly there, but I need to consider the logistics for when it could be done and if I could commit the necessary time and energy to it.

I have thought that being virtual it might be a way to include a volunteer or two from afar, so if YOU have any interest let me know!  Blessings and love, Jason

From The Deacons: Ways to Financially Support Crestview Church

Giving- Thank you for continuing to support the staff and ministries through your faithful tithes and offerings. When you give, please indicate the amount for the general fund as well any amount you would like to contribute to the second offering and/or benevolence & neighboring fund
As a reminder, there are a few ways to continue to give to Crestview during this time:

  • Mail your check to Crestview Church, 3665 Madison Ave., Boulder, CO 80303
  • Set up online payments through “Bill Pay” at your bank. This allows flexibility as you can easily make any changes in the amount or frequency through a weekly, monthly, or one time gift.
  • Set up an Authorization for Direct Deposit (ACH) through your bank. If you need an ACH form, please email deacons@crestviewchurch.org.

You are invited! Introducing THE THREE-WAY-TIE

Dear Crestview family:

You are cordially invited to join in a new project I am spearheading called, The Three-Way-Tie.

As we begin a new year still struggling with the pandemic and continued isolation from our normal community rhythms of life, I wanted to extend this opportunity to connect with a small group. Here are a few details of the Three-Way-Tie for you to consider if this is something you might enjoy.

The Three-Way-Tie is:

* a group of no more than three people who check in with each other on a weekly or twice-monthly basis.

* completely optional but is available to anyone who thinks they might enjoy the connection.

* a way to connect with a tighter social network, your Three-Way-Tie buddies, via email, phone, or zoom.

* not a replacement of pastor or elder contact.

* not a replacement of the larger Crestview care groups.

*very malleable and can take the shape of whatever works best for your group.

For more information contact Crestview.

Text of the Quarter

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NIV)

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
