We have many annual events for family fellowship and fun as we live out our Christian life in community. Family at Crestview means everyone. We believe in living out the seasons of our lives together as the seasons cycle through the years. Check out our events and join us!

2023 Summer BBQ

Trunk-Or-Treat
Crestview offers a safe way to trick-or-treat with your kids! The Saturday before Halloween, Crestview families decorate their car trunks with a fun theme to marvel and enjoy. Each trunk station typically has a mini-game for your kids to enjoy and receive candy or toys at. We make this a party for all but also having a roasting marshmallows and s’mores fire pit, hot cider and hot cocoa, and festive music. Come in costume and come see our costumes too!

Easter Sunday
A celebration to remember! This fun day includes a Easter Sunday service at 9:30am, followed by a light brunch in the fellowship hall. After the service, we offer a community-inclusive Easter egg hunt in the backyard of the church for kids of all ages. Don’t forget to enjoy a slice of cake after collecting eggs. If weather isn’t permitting, we move the egg hunt indoors. Come to any and all events.

Bike to Work Day
Crestview Church is proud to participate in summer and winter Bike to Work Day, a Boulder city- and nation-wide event. For both seasonal days, we provide a breakfast station serving Brewing Market Coffee & Moe’s Bagels to bike and walk commuters on their way to school, work, or just out for a morning stroll. In the summer, we also offer a free front-yard picnic party in the evening with music, games, bike tune-ups, and grilled and potluck food! In the winter, also offer a chili potluck dinner and game night.

Fall Kickoff
In September, we provide a free pancake breakfast on the front lawn – not just pancakes though, we also offer: breakfast sausage, fruit, Brewing Market coffee, and orange juice. Also available is a bouncy castle for kids to have fun, and hula hoops and cornhole. Stay afterwards, if you’d like, for our outdoor service!

Hike to the Star
In Boulder, Flagstaff mountain sparks so much joy when the star is assembled on the mountain. Join us as we gather a group of 30-40 people to carpool up to Panorama Point and hike to the star just after sunset. All ages and all skill levels welcome to this 2 hour event. Some hike all the way to the top, and some of us hike to the base of the star. On the path up, we organize a scavenger hunt for the kids to find tins with little toys and treats. Once we finish the hike and are back at Panorama Point, we enjoy homemade hot cocoa and cookies while marveling the scenic view of Boulder’s nighttime sky.
