Do you ever feel like a setback or a misstep has disqualified you from a future opportunity? Have you felt, do you feel, as if a mistake, poor choice, wrong decision has taken away your confidence? A growing doubt in yourself, of yourself, a fear to not venture out or take a risk in doing something worth doing?
And if you believe in God, it’s affected you so deeply, you aren’t sure anymore that God would, or could use you in some way for his bigger purpose?
You need to read Exodus chapter 2 and 3. God calls Moses to something big after a big failure and runs away. “Moses! I’m calling you and sending you and I’ll be with you.” Moses doubts God can use him for much of anything except tending to sheep.
The God of Moses can be your God too. Believe it – God is calling and sending you too and will be with you too. Text for Sunday is Exodus Chapter 3. See you Sunday,
