Do you ever have the desire, the wish, to be part of something bigger than yourself? A grand vision to be able to step into, engage, put your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength into? No need to look any further, to search for it, hoping you will one day find it.
God’s story of his plan for the world, of his love and faithfulness, a rescue mission beyond anything one can ever know, has become known to us. God’s invitation to join him in what he is doing in his world is not only a mission worth engaging in, it’s what we were designed, created for. So what are you waiting for? God’s done and doing some great things. It’s time for us to join Him. After all, he’s invited us, we just need to accept the invitation and come to the party.
Sunday, we see God’s unfolding plan of rescue in the life of Moses. Everyone seems to know who Moses is… yet, he’s a complicated character. God’s Word in Exodus 2:11-25 is once again stunning. Proving itself (God’s Word) to be ‘alive and active’ (Hebrews 4), ‘God-breathed’ (Letter to Timothy) and ‘more precious than gold.’ (Psalm 19) If this is how good God’s word is, imagine how good God is. See you Sunday,
Pastor Mark
(PS – we are hosting a fun family event at Crestview Friday for families and kids to go along with the Halloween happenings. Come on out this Friday, 5:30-7:00pm.)
