We’ve been in a drought in Colorado for several months… We all have been praying for God to open up the heavens and pour down rain! And this past week, God did exactly that and things are green and growing again. Things are vibrant in the sun’s light!
2,000 years ago, God’s people had been crying out to God to open up the heavens and send down his salvation and grace. And God did exactly that, he sent his Son Jesus, full of grace and truth. Jesus lived and died, and rose again, pouring out his grace and salvation on the earth! Invitation to vibrancy!
After his resurrection, he said to his followers, “Wait 50 days, and I’ll pour out my Spirit! The best is yet to come!” And He did exactly that. Sunday is Pentecost! Come and celebrate, rejoice, believe and receive the Spirit of God – the Spirit of grace, truth, life and power! Don’t be square, get there!
