Paul uses a metaphor in Philippians 2 to describe what a life in Christ looks like.  When we live our lives in Christ (in his strength, his power, his goodness, his ways) we ‘shine like stars in the universe.’  Ever been out in the darkness in a ‘dark sky’ or ‘dark night’ where no artificial light pollution, no clouds, no bright moon present?  It’s stunning!  The stars stand out in the darkness with brilliance.  When and where this can be seen takes the breath away.

This is what it’s like when God’s people are filled and led by God’s Spirit in attitude, word and deed.  Although this metaphor can be a broad generalization, Paul isn’t general in describing what this practically looks like.  Read Romans 12:1-3 and Philippians 2:1-5 and 12-16 and see if you find any ‘specifics’ on what this ‘shining like stars in the universe’ looks like.

Sunday, we celebrate communionenjoy a fellowship meal post worship, and get to hear Grace Wille expound on her India trip mission experience.  Looking forward to a Sunday of worship with God and with you!

In Christ,
     Mark
