Asking, Seeking, Knocking – The Closing and Opening of Doors 2025
Merry Christmas! And now, to a New Year! Looking forward to this Sunday as we look back over 2024 together and look forward to 2025. Sunday will provide an opportunity for you to reflect on 2024: How has God grown you in faith, led you through to something good, been with you in the midst of difficulty, a particular Scripture text that has been impactful, where have you seen God at work? In all our sharing, we will strive for giving witness to God’s great love and for the glory of his name.
We will also have the opportunity to voice the challenges of 2024 and what we may be looking forward to in 2025. In all our sharing about what the future may hold, we voice these things with open hands, knowing God is with us, and with the assurance that God’s will be done and his Kingdom come permeates all our future hopes.
It’s difficult to find quiet time over the holidays, my prayer is that you (and I) will have a space to be able to reflect with God on the year passing and the new year dawning. To God be the glory in all things, for in all things, God has given us everything we need.
