Top 10: Colossians 1:15-20 – Knowing Jesus Profound Identity

We remain in our summer series of life/faith shaping texts and for the next three weeks, three texts on Knowing Jesus

  • August 18th – Colossians 1:15-20 – Knowing Jesus Profound Identity
  • August 25th – Philippians 3:7-11 – Profound Identity in Knowing Jesus
  • September 1st – Ephesians 1:15-19a – Get to Know Jesus Better!

Over the next month, we will be transitioning from our summer schedule to our fall/early winter Sunday routine.  Here is what we are planning for: September 1st and 8th, outdoor worship followed by some outdoor fellowship and fun.  September 15th through December 22nd, we will kick-off our Sunday morning format of 40 minute worship/message time followed by 30 minute every age/age appropriate discipleship interactive time.  More details to come.

We hope that we can all keep up with the next months flow of Sunday am worship activity:

  • August 18th – Communion, Fellowship Meal after am worship with Profession of Faith and Baptism of Kezia Huffaker 6:30pm at Baseline Reservoir followed by celebration dessert at the Huffakers.
  • August 25th – Crestview Campout weekend at Long Scraggy Campground with outdoor worship service at Long Scraggy 9:30am (Pastor Mark engaged in person).  We will also have an informal worship service at Crestview Church at 9:30am with some singing, 10 minute video message from Pastor Mark, prayer time and fellowship.
  • September 1st and September 8th, 9:30am outdoor worship on the lawn of Crestview Church followed by snacks, fellowship, and games.
  • September 15th – December 22nd, we will begin our fall/early winter 9:30am worship service format: 40 minute worship/message, followed by 30 minutes of age appropriate discipleship interactive time.  Every 3rd Sunday of each month we will celebrate communion and have a post worship church wide fellowship meal.

We will take it week by week, month by month, as we seek to grow in faith and discipleship together, glorifying God, becoming more like Christ, and engaged in building God’s Kingdom.

Shalom,
Pastor Mark
