I grew up in South Boulder and when I was five we started attending Crestview. During High School and College I regularly served on Crestview’s AV team. While attending CU Boulder, for my BA in Psychology, I met my wife, Jill, guiding backpacking trips for Young Life during the Summers. After college, I worked down in Colorado Springs at the Dale House, which is a Christian emancipation home for kids in the Department of Youth Corrections and Department of Human Services for a couple of years. Jill and I married in 2013 while I was at Denver Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity and she was at Regis University pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I started as an intern at Waterstone Community Church in 2014 and left staff at the end of February 2020 as the Congregational Care and Small Groups Pastor. I have been a stay at home Dad with our two little girls, Evi (4.5) and Emery (2), since I stepped off of Waterstone’s staff. We are hoping and praying that we can find a church that I can serve at where I am able to preach on a more regular basis.
