September through May, come join us on the first and third Thursdays, 6:30 – 8 AM, where we meet for breakfast, prayer, fellowship, and a study to help us deepen our faith. It’s an open group that you can jump into anytime. Email Dave Vanden Berg with questions.
Moab Men’s Retreat, April 26-29th, 2018
Come and join about 50 men in Moab as we retreat for a weekend in Moab, Utah. We are a ragtag bunch who love the outdoors. We camp out, share meals and fire conversation, plan activities around various interests: hiking, biking, climbing, jeeping, hammocking, reading, rafting – whatever sounds good to you. We intentionally engage God’s Word as well together around some theme for the weekend. Stay tuned! We would love to have you join us.
Quite a few men will arrive late afternoon on Thursday, the 26th. Our sites are reserved for Thursday night as well as Friday and Saturday. We usually set up and then head to town for supper.
Moab is a 3-day adventure of physical and spiritual refreshment for men. Feel free to forward this information to any of your friends.
Primary activities include hiking and mountain biking. A few men have also been known to enjoy road biking, fishing, golfing and 4 wheeling.
Mornings and evenings are spent around the fire (real or fake) where we spend time together sharing the joys and challenges of life in both informal and prepared conversations.
Location: We will again be staying at the Moab Valley Resort and Campground located on Highway 191 at the north end of Moab, where highway 128 comes into Moab. Check out their website for some great pictures and descriptions.
