Deacons love to walk alongside others in working through justice and mercy situations and questions in our daily life. In our church, deacons are called by God to teach us to ‘be merciful, engage in faithful stewardship of our gifts (time, talents and money), be compassionate, and be critics of waste, injustice and selfishness in our society and be sensitive counselors to the victims of such evils.’
We have four deacons at Crestview Church who seek to champion these things for our faith community: Karen Eifler, Linda Muhle, Bonnie Jonkman and Barb Tinklenberg.
To contact any of the deacons, email us at office@crestviewchurch.org and indicate DEACON in the subject line.

Karen Eifler
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado and have been attending Crestview Church since 2013. I adore this loving Church community! This is my second term serving as Deacon and I am called to serve the Lord in this way. I live in the mountains above Boulder and am recently retired. I am looking forward to spending more time with my grandchildren and in the wonderful mountains.

Linda Muhle
I have lived most of my life in Colorado. I love it here and never get tired of the beautiful mountains God created. I started watching Crestview services online during COVID, thanks to Julie Huffaker, and have been at Crestview since 2021. I believe that the community at Crestview is a wonderful Christian family full of faith, love, and support.

Bonnie Jonkman
Bonnie has attended Crestview since 2002. She has played many roles at Crestview, including playing piano and running the video projection system. She works as a software developer in the wind turbine industry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband and daughter.

Barb Tinklenberg
Barb has been a member of Crestview since 2001. She and her husband love small
churches with friendly, loving people who love the Lord and want to serve others, and they found that at Crestview. She is currently retired after working in education as a librarian at Alameda High School in Lakewood. Since she loves teens; Barb volunteered as a tutor for Afghani girls, worked as Youth Leader for a Cambodian
church and long ago supported two refugee families from Cambodia. She presently
volunteers as the church librarian and attends the Daybreak Bible Study. She enjoys
reading, painting and needlework, plus camping and traveling with her husband. She
has four grown children and five grandchildren.
