Do you believe in the resurrection? It’s an astounding belief. Easy to doubt and be skeptical, for we know that ‘dead means dead.’ And to believe in the resurrection is to believe that there has only been one exception to the truth, ‘dead means dead.’ The claims of Jesus.
Believing in the resurrection of Jesus engages faith, but is far from irrational. We can explore this together Sunday. Do you ever feel there is more to life, a longing, a sense that there is something more? That something more inkling and sense is the reality of the resurrection. We are and the world is meant for something more.
So, Do you believe in the resurrection? A real body resurrection? If you don’t, the Christian faith is all vanity… If you do, life is transformed now and later, for today, tomorrow, and the ever after. It’s the central historic event of all history. Do you believe it?
Read 1 Corinthians 15 and ponder the implications of this true, real, authentic, and life altering, transforming event.
