Sunday we celebrate with Dane Martinez in his profession of faith during our morning worship service, and we will signify it with baptism to follow at our Kickoff picnic and fun day at Boulder Reservoir. Bring some food, bring your boat, or something that floats, and we will see you at the res. We also kickoff this Sunday our intentional Year of Discipleship focus with our weekly rhythm of ministry life, leading us all the way to Easter.
We are totally depraved… we need Jesus! We begin this journey with a message on what is needed and necessary for this journey, suiting up for the road ahead, with the full armor of God. Take a listen to the video short for this week, says it all in about 1 minute… take a read through Ephesians 6:10-20 for Sunday and ask, Why did Paul choose this imagery and this kind of defensive and offensive garb? The practical question then becomes, how do we, how are we, daily, putting on the armor of God?
