Esther: You Were Made for this Moment – Who? What? Why? Where?
Introduction to the Book of Esther

Good Day Crestview community!  With Colossians message series in the rearview mirror, what’s next?  The Book of Esther  I know that Daybreak (our Wednesday women’s bible study) recently studied Esther.  I’m inclined to ask each participant to bring a message to Crestview on some aspect of learning and application from their study.  We could cover about 10 weeks of exploring Esther together!

As easy as that would make my summer message prep hum along, we will explore Esther together in 4 weeks of messages (every other week), with a message on Ephesians 3:21-22 and Philippians 2:1-13 in between each.  We will explore themes of God’s sovereignty, the holy/human weave of God’s will be done, “If I must die, I must die”, courage for ‘such a time as this’ and God works in mysterious ways.     

I implore you to read the entire Book of Esther in one sitting.  The story is fascinating and engaging and moves along.  If you spend 45 minutes reading CJ Box or an ebook on your Kindle,  you can do this.  As you read, what themes stick out to you?
