Our Identity in Christ: A Holy Temple
Ephesians 2

This week we will continue to sit in Ephesians 2. These last two weeks we have seen that in and through Jesus we have become citizens of his kingdom and members of his family. This week we will look at how we (collectively) in Jesus are the temple of God.

Temples are odd structures to us today, so we will unpack the idea of temple. The Temple in Jerusalem pointed back towards Eden when God dwelt with Adam and Eve, and it points towards Jesus who tabernacled among us – and it points to renewed heavens and the renewed earth when God fully dwells with his people again.
